Those of you that know me personally, or those of you that have asked me about my personal pipes, or those of you that have had any idle conversation with me about pipes already know that I consider Salvador Amorelli among the finest Italian pipe masters. I fell in love with his work a few years ago at the NASPC show in Columbus and this infatuation and admiration has resulted in about 14 of his graded pipes in my collection. I had the pleasure of meeting him and having an all too brief conversation at the 2019 Chicago show. Knowing full well that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, I have made several pipes copying his "one piece" design.
